Ways To Tackle Food Security And Goods Prices Hike

Hello friends,
With the current social and political scenario in the country including the changes in the kind of medium to reach the mass public and after considering for quite a while, I've decided to start this blog as to provide an opportunity for the society at large to share ideas for the betterment of the society in general.
I hope the ideas and views or whatever criticism posted on this blog will be useful for the good sake of the nation and our people regardless their political or religious beliefs.

To kick off, perhaps we should start discussing ways on how the nation could prosper especially in the wake of global concern over food security and the continuous oil price hike. We have heard or read many reports on the government's plan in ensuring food security for our people.
What we want is a more action oriented plan and not merely just the talking points. We need fast action...why only after so many years only the government thinks of planting padi in Sabah and Sarawak? Why not years ago all these be in the plan?

It has always been the case whereby a Malay proverb said "Sudah terantok baru tengadah!" everytime when things already happened then only we Malaysians try to find the solution. It has been a while when the government put on its agenda to focus on Agriculture, but it seems that the process of implementation has been very slow and now we are facing the problem.

The problem with Malaysians is that they talked too much and slow in making decision, so my dear friends, please speak up and give your views on how can we help the government find a short and long term solution to solve this food security and ensuring the prices of goods do not give the worst implication to our citizens.

Regards
